Roma coach Claudio Ranieri is confident his side can spark their season into life when they take on Serie A newcomers Brescia on Wednesday.

The capital city giants threw away a 2-0 lead against Bologna on Sunday and ended up with a draw, a result that dropped Roma to 17th place with just two points from three games.

Roma have struggled at both ends of the pitch with just three goals scored and seven conceded.

"We are going through a difficult time where things aren't going our way," said Ranieri.

"But we must be calm and try to recover all of our players. I am certain we will get back on track.

"We have not won a game for a long time and I think the players are anxious."

Brescia, meanwhile, will go into the home clash in buoyant mood after Sunday's 1-0 triumph at Chievo.

Unbeaten Inter Milan, who are five points clear of Roma, take on Bari. Inter trailed at Palermo last time out but came from behind and won 2-1.

With Diego Milito yet to open his account with Inter, team-mate Samuel Eto'o is in form.

Eto'o took his goal tally to three for the season by scoring twice against Palermo.

The result lifted Inter to the top of the Serie A standings and level on seven points with Cesena.

Newly-promoted Cesena visit Catania hoping to claim their first win on the road this season.

Lazio will look to make it three wins in a row when they take on strugglers AC Milan at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Biancoceleste will fancy their chances because Massimiliano Allegri's Milan have mustered just one point in their last two league encounters.

Juventus claimed their first win of the season by thrashing Udinese 4-0 at the Stadio Friuli on Sunday and coach Luigi Del Neri has demanded more of the same when his side host Palermo on Thursday.

Lecce seek home comfort when they welcome Parma to the Via Del Mare stadium.

The Giallorossi have lost all of their games on the road during this campaign while they remain unbeaten at home.

Fiorentina coach Sinisa Mihajlovic hopes his team can kick-start their campaign when they visit Genoa.

Mihajlovic, who replaced Cesare Prandelli at the helm of the Viola this summer, has yet to taste victory, with his side having claimed just one point from a possible nine.

Napoli look to pick up where they left off in Sunday's 2-1 triumph at Sampdoria when they host Chievo.

Cagliari expect to keep up their unbeaten run this season when they battle it out against Sampdoria at the Sant' Elia.

Rock-bottom Udinese are desperate to claim their first point of the campaign at Bologna having lost all of their games so far.
