According to football portal, goal.com, AC Milan are about to move for Manchester United's Bulgarian player Dimitar Berbatov. The Bulgarian has scored 26 goals for United but while Rooney is in Red he is not given much attention.

According to Wayne Veysey's article in Goal.com, the Rossoneri are prepared to pay more than half the £30.75m that Manchester United paid to Tottenham in the transfer market of summer 2008. Although The Bulgarian super-striker has exressed his desire to stay at Olf Trafford.

What may be a decisive factor for Berbatov's move, is Sir Alex Ferguson's obsession with Rooney, as the English striker is favoured to play alone up front in important fictures. The only marquee fixture that Berbatov was given the chance to prove his qualities was at Premier League game against Chelsea (which, for the record, Chelsea won 1:2).
